Houston’s Best Festival: Friday, 9.4.2026 ISKCON of Houston and Hindus of Greater Houston invites you all to celebrate Shri Krishna Janmashtami on Friday, September 4th, 2026. Festival starts at 6 pm. This year’s festival is a special festival as ISKCON of Houston celebrates 40th Anniversary and the KIRTAN FEST 2026 festival. Special program is planned at this year’s festival and includes: 40th Anniversary Festival Costume Contest (Coordinated by Hindus of Greater Houston) Drone Light Show 8 PM Fruit and Flower Festival (Deities and Altar) 3 Aartis (7 pm, 9 pm and Midnight) Abhisekh, Jhulan, Kirtan, Feast << Click button for Costume Contest rules and registration. Free parking and shuttle (from 5:30 pm to 1:00 am) service is at Houston’s First Baptist Church – 7401 Katy Freeway, 77024 Please Note: Janmashtami Festival is held at the temple. All parking is off-site.
